What Would Dolly Do Day?
September 25, 2026
What Would Dolly Do Day – September 25, 2026! SSS will celebrate kindness, reading, and music with What Would Dolly Do Day! We’ll kick off the morning with Dolly’s “9 to 5” and a special Dollyism.
The PTSA will provide Nice Cards for every student to give to someone who has done something kind for them—whether it’s a fellow student, staff member, or family member.
Students and staff are encouraged to celebrate by wearing Dolly-inspired or country western attire (school appropriate, of course!) and spreading a little extra kindness throughout the day.
WE DON’T WANT TO CANCEL — WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Haunted Hall-ows is coming to Second Street School on October 28, 2026, but we need 20 volunteers to make it happen!
Volunteers will help oversee fun, Halloween-themed games and activities. The PTSA will provide all supplies and easy-to-follow directions — just bring your Halloween spirit!
IMPORTANT: We must have 20 volunteers signed up by October 5 in order to host the event.
Can you help us make Haunted Hall-ows happen?
Sign up today and be part of the fun!
